About Me
Beverly is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya close to a decade years post admission experience. She currently serves as the Programme Lead for the Sexual Health and Reproductive Education (SHARE), Women in Political Participation (WPP) and ECHIDNA Giving Programmes at the Forum for African Women Educationalist-Regional Secretariat (FAWE-RS).
She is also the focal point person for Early Childhood Education (ECE) at the organization. In 2019, Beverly was selected as one of five Leadership & Advocacy for Women in Africa (LAWA) fellows. She attended Georgetown University Law Centre and graduated with a Master’s in International Legal Studies and a certificate in International Human Rights. Beverly graduated with an LL.B. from Moi University in 2013.

About Thamini Binti Foundation
Thamini Binti Foundation is a community-based organization whose mission is “To help vulnerable girls to meet their menstrual health and hygiene needs”. This is based on the premise that when a girl’s menstrual hygiene needs are not met, then she is susceptible to reproductive health challenges including teenage pregnancies, unsafe abortion and in some circumstances death. Experiencing the menstrual health challenges also makes it impossible for a girl to navigate her life normally, she is likely to miss out on school which may affect her academic outcomes and resultantly affect her ability to compete in the job market leaving her revolving in the cycle of poverty
